Half of the year is gone already, time passes too quickly! This month I would like to dedicate fav finds to geeks because there is a bit of a geek in everyone of us.

Fav Finds - May 2014
It's May! Almost Mother's Day too, what are you getting your mummy dearest this year? Fear not, here is my pick of the crop. Every mum is different so here's something for everyone and every budget.
1. Ice cream cone salt & pepper shakers from Pier1 - For the mums who loves cooking in style. This is cute as a button, certainly making the task of grinding salt and pepper just that much more pleasant.
2. 'Mum's the word' pillow from Nordstrom - For the mums who loves decorating their homes with beautiful things.
3. Medium 'Antigona' Tote from Givenchy - For the mums who loves high fashion and looking fabulous. Also for the ones who have the money to spend. The colour and design of this bag is quite timeless so it will suit mums of any ages.
4. Baleen clean nail brush from Modcloth - For the mums who likes to keep their nails in immaculate conditions and also like whales.
5. Refresh my memory box from Modcloth - For the mums who likes to travel/collect/reminiscent about things. Inside is a notebook, identifier tags, string-tie wallet, acrylic vial and metal trinket box. All comes in a very nice looking wooden box too!

Fav Finds - April 2014
And welcome to the 2nd edition of Fav Finds! Today is the first day of April, aka April fools day, hope everyone has had a big ol' laugh pulling pranks. The weather is getting cooler as we are into the second month of autumn and that means sweater weather! Sweaters are versatile pieces that can be layered as the climate gets colder, pair it with a shirt underneath or wear it on its own with jeans or tights. Changes in season also means it's time to moisturise, moisturise and more moisturising!
1. "Cray Cray" Mason jar scentless candle from Primitives by Kathy - Too bad it's unscented, I would've loved to know what "cray cray" smelt like.
2. Be my pet watch from Nasty Gal - Dawwww, look at that lil face.
3. Cameron peeptoe bootie from Forever New - Autumn also means it's time to stock up on boots girls. This one is a peeptoe so it's perfect for autumn.
4. Illuminating BB cream from Klairs - I've used quite a few BB creams, my favourites so far would have to be this one from Klairs and skin 79. This BB goes on very natural, so would suit girls who's looking for sheer to light coverage. Plus it also has SPF 40 which is perfect for the harsh Australian weather. Highly recommended for everyday wear.
5. Rewind & Replenish facial serum from Napoleon Perdis - I stumbled across this by accident actually, I was looking for a serum to combat the dryness that is approaching and found it on sale. It's very light and a tiny bit goes a long way, I did notice a difference in the appearance of my skin after using this. The pores are smaller and my skintone appears more even. Use after toner and before moisturiser and eye cream.
6. Mini spring check jumper from Topshop - Sweater weather! This is a must have, checks never goes out of style, wear this with a white shirt and jeans for preppy chic or swap for leather pants and biker boots.

Fav Finds - March 2014
Welcome to the first edition of "Fav Finds" where I will be sharing some of my favourite things found on the web each month!
1. Beehive candle from Fab.com - I love the idea of this candle, you basically control how long you want it to burn by pulling the wax coil through the wick clip. The bees on the candle are also very cute!
2. Eggling - From my previous entry I mentioned that I'm trying to grow my own miniature indoor garden with the Shippon and clover, well Jules bought me this, it's called an Eggling and you crack the egg which is made out of plaster I think and water it, eventually the seeds inside will sprout and you'll end up with a plant/flowers inside the egg. I have the Lavender one, hopefully it will turn out awesome, will upload some pics soon. You can get yours at Myer.
3. Evie kemp kitty wreath art print from Urban Outfitters - I like cats! Wouldn't you want this cute and slightly grumpy looking kitty surrounded by flowers on your wall too? lol
4. Gold/Silver Arrow ring from Ceek Jewelry - Nice on its own or paired with other rings. Get yours at Bluefly
5. Linea moustache icon cushion from House of Fraser - Quirky and fun, moustaches are popping up everywhere. Incorporate this into your living room or any room in the house for an instant quirky touch.
